Merry Christmas?

So what are you doing Christmas Eve day? Baking? Last-minute shopping? Wrapping those last few gifts and putting them under the tree? Maybe even decorating the tree?

Know what we're doing?

Making a big mess of the foyer and cleaning out the coat closet.

Why are we doing this?

I have no idea.

But Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night. :)

  1. You're doing that because all your baking's done and your presents are wrapped and you have your agenda itemized for the next 24 hours.

I just got back from the hairdresser's, plus M&M Meats where I picked up some last minute appetizers, as rumour has it I'm in charge of home baking some appetizers tonight. The hostess didn't get around to it, curiously enough, what with her father passing away this week.

I haven't wrapped a thing, and I have to vacuum before I can wrap as the rug's filthy...and I have to also tunnel my way through the crawl space to reach the wrapping paper to begin with. It's two in the afternoon, and I have to be out of here by five to act as the designated driver tonight. That means vacuuming, crawling, wrapping, bathing, dressing, cooking the appetizers, packing them, and slapping on a Merry Frigging Christmas face before heading out.

I would rather be cleaning out your closet.

    I'm just sayin'

Gotta run. Things to do.....Must check my Facebook wall. :P

  2. I baked, and I baked, and I baked some more.

  3. Hope you got everything done, tartlet. I just got home from the two church services, just one more to go tomorrow morning and I'm officially on vacation. Yay!

Rosie, are you gonna give us an "after" pic of your new kitchen counters? Cuz that's one I'd like to see. :D

    Merry Christmas, dear friends!

  4. Someone has to have the real holiday spirit and it looks those two above are too busy to clean out closets, so...Personally, I went to work...and quilted...and opened presents...
    Merry Christmas!!

  5. Don't you hate having to work on Christmas Eve day? Hope you got off early!

    Merry Christmas, Trish!
